Publisher's original red cloth with titles and small lion and heart illustrations in gilt and black to the spine, with lion illustration in gilt to the upper board, in the Edward Gorey illustrated dustwrapper. Top edge red. Deckled fore-edge. A very good copy, the binding square and firm, with a little rubbing and fading to the spine tips and extremities. The text block is mildly toned and spotted to the edges. The contents, with a couple of light spots to the endpapers, are clean throughout, and without inscriptions or stamps. Complete with the rubbed, creased, and marked dustwrapper, which is a little spotted to the flap edges, with stained to the underside. Not price-clipped ($2.95 to the upper front flap).
