First UK edition, first printing. Original red cloth with black titles to the spine, in the William Randell illustrated dustwrapper. A very near fine copy, the binding square and firm, the spine tips ever so slightly bumped, the cloth bright and fresh. The contents are clean throughout and without previous owner's inscriptions or stamps. Complete with the lightly rubbed dustwrapper which has a handful of tiny closed tears at the edges. Not price-clipped (10s 6d on the upper front flap).
