First edition, first printing. Original black cloth with silver lettering to the spine, in dustwrapper. A very near fine copy, the binding square and firm, the contents clean throughout without inscriptions or stamps. Minimally bumped to the outer corners of the front panel; a couple of very light marks to the upper page block edge. In the bright dustwrapper, rubbed and nicked to corners and extremities, with a 2 cm closed tear to the lightly soiled rear panel, and another (c. 1.5 cm) to the lower edge of the front panel. Not price-clipped (correctly priced 10s. 6d. net to the front flap).
