First edition, first printing. Publisher's original grey cloth with gilt titles to the spine, in the Youngman Carter illustrated dustwrapper. A better than very good copy, the binding square and firm, the cloth clean and fresh. The contents are clean throughout and without inscriptions or stamps. The closed top edge of the text block is spotted and toned. Complete with the lightly rubbed dustwrapper that has a single short closed tear to the upper front flap fold and some toning to the spine. Not price-clipped (30s net to the front flap).
