First edition, first printing. Signed by the author. Publisher's original green paper-covered boards with silver titles to the spine, in dustwrapper. A near fine copy, the binding square and firm, with very slight bumping to the spine tips and a little fading to the extreme edges. There is a little faint spotting to the closed text-block edge, the contents are otherwise clean throughout and without stamps or inscriptions. Complete with the lightly rubbed and creased dustwrapper that is without fading, loss or tears. Not price-clipped (£3.95 on the lower front flap).

Signed and dated "19th May 1976" by Winston Graham in black ink on the title page. The sixth Poldark novel. Graham's Poldark series has inspired two successful BBC television adaptations, the first aired between 1975 and 1977 and starred Robin Ellis and Angharad Rees, the second aired between 2015 and 2019 and starred Aiden Turner and Eleanor Tomlinson.
