First and copyright edition. Inscribed by the author. Contemporary half green polished calf, five raised bands, simply decorated compartments and titles on a reddish brown morocco label to the spine. Top edge gilt. Marbled endpapers. A very good copy indeed, the binding square and firm with some fading of the spine and board edges. The contents with very light spotting to the endpapers and closed text block edge are otherwise clean throughout.

Inscribed by the author in black ink on the half title "To my friend / W. G. Daffarn / from / Percy White / 15 Feb 1910". The recipient is the landscape painter William George Daffarn
