Limited edition. Signed by the author, designer and author of the introduction. The binding, designed by Damien Hirst, comprises glass mirror boards with a silver spine and silver page edges. Metallic bookmark, modelled as an American Express card embossed with the author's name, attached to a ribbon. A die-cut trench in the pages of the book holds a genuine rolled up $100 note from the U.S. Treasury and the last three digits of the serial number matches the individual limitation number of each copy. Housed in a slipcase featuring a 100 dollar bill design. A fine copy, the binding square and tight, the reflective boards with a few tiny marks. The contents are clean, bright and fresh throughout and without previous owners' stamps or inscriptions. The slipcase is in fine condition. An excellent example.

This special edition's highly unique, tongue-in-cheek binding was designed by Hirst and displays the artist's typically brash, conceptual style. The inclusion of the genuine $100 note plays with the ideas of value and art in a similar way to Hirst's infamous 'For the Love of God', a diamond-encrusted skull produced nearly 10 years later that was met with a maelstrom of controversy and media coverage.
