SHARED VISION I: THE BLIND ASSASSIN

First edition, first printing. Signed by the author and the artist. Limited edition. Original hand-patterned boards by Claire Maziarczyk with a cream cloth spine lettered in gilt. Issued with a signed print by Yoko Ono. The book and print are housed together in a black cloth solander box with gilt titles to the spine. An excellent fine copy, the binding square and tight, the contents clean and bright and without previous owners' stamps or inscriptions. In the near fine solander box which has a little very faint rubbing and a slight bump to the top corner of the upper board. A lovely copy.

The print is signed by Yoko Ono along the bottom edge. A separate edition of the first chapter of Atwood's 2000 novel 'The Blind Assassin', illustrated with a conceptual drawing by Ono, inspired by Atwood's text. Issued by the Oak Tree Press, a private press that donates its profits to organisations assisting children living with or affected by HIV/AIDS, as part of their 'Shared Visions' series, an extension of their 'First Chapters' series.
