First edition, first printing. Signed by the author. Original peach paper-covered boards with titles printed in black to the upper board and spine, in dustwrapper. A very good or better copy, the binding square and firm with a little rubbing to the extremities. The contents with minor spotting to the top edge of the textblock and a couple of dots of foxing to the prelims are otherwise clean throughout and free from any previous owners' inscriptions or stamps. Complete with the very good dustwrapper which has a few small marks, a little chipping to the spine ends and some minor nicks to the extremities. Not price-clipped (12s. 6d. net to the front flap).

Signed by Redgrove in black ink on the title page: "Peter Redgrove / Grantley Hall / August 1964". The author's third collection. Provenance: from the library of the multi-award winning poet Pat Borthwick.
