First edition, first printing. The publisher's retained copy. Original red cloth with gilt titles to the spine, in dustwrapper. An excellent very near fine copy, the binding square and tight, the cloth is bright and fresh. The contents with the publisher's 'file copy' stamp to the front pastedown which catches the corner of the dustwrapper flap, and the unavoidable toning of the poor paper stock, are otherwise clean throughout. Complete with the lightly rubbed dustwrapper that has the publisher's 'file copy' stamp to the upper panel but is otherwise fine, without fading, loss or tears. Not price-clipped (9/6 net to the lower front flap).
