First edition, first printing. Inscribed presentation copy. Original green cloth lettered in gilt to spine and front panel, in dustwrapper. A near fine copy, the binding square and firm, the contents clean throughout. Minor rubbing to spine tips and corners. In the dustwrapper, a touch rubbed to outer corners.

Inscribed in blue ink to the front free endpaper, "To Kelly Mclaughlin / with best wishes / Pamela R. Lessing Friedman / September 18, 1990". A catalogue published to coincide with an exhibition at the Denver Art Museum.
