First edition, first printing. Publisher's original light purple cloth with gilt decoration after designs by Charles Shannon, titles in gilt to the spine. All edges untrimmed. A better than very good copy, the binding firm with some bumping to the tips of the slightly faded spine and corners. The contents, with the bookplate of Farquharson Tweedale to the front pastedown (with offseting to the opposite endpaper), a Henry Sotheran book label below and a few isolated foxing spots, are otherwise clean throughout.
