First edition of a new annotated and enlarged edition of the Shakespeare Head Brontė. Publisher's original burgundy cloth with gilt titles to the spine, in dustwrapper. A near fine copy, the binding square and firm, the cloth bright and fresh. The contents are clean throughout and without inscriptions or stamps. The closed text block edge has a few isolated foxing spots. Complete with the very good, lightly rubbed dustwrapper that has a few splash marks to the panels and mild toning to the spine, whilst remaining without loss or tears.
A new critical edition of Branwell Brontė's poems, which includes the revised Angrian poems transcribed by Branwell in 1837, and a number of other poems, some of which are published here for the first time.
