Third impression. Publisher's original grey paper covered boards, with green titles and illustration to the upper board and spine, in dustwrapper. Illustrated with six tipped in colour plates and line drawings on every page by Margaret Tarrant. A very good copy, the binding square and firm with some rubbing, toning and bumping to the board edges. The contents, with a little faint spotting to the prelims, are otherwise clean throughout and without inscriptions or stamps. Complete with the lightly rubbed dustwrapper that is darkened to the spine and without loss or tears.
