First and only edition. Publisher's original green and black textured cloth with gilt titles to the spine, in the wraparound illustrated dustwrapper. Illustrated with 50 full page colour reproductions of water colour paintings by Flora Mitchell. A near fine copy, the binding firm, bright and fresh, with a little bumping at the tips of the slightly rolled spine. The contents are clean throughout and without inscriptions or stamps. Complete with the very lightly creased dustwrapper that is faded to the spine. Not price-clipped (50/- to the lower front flap).

With an introduction by the Earl of Wicklow. Printed in an edition of 600 copies after which the plates were destroyed, preventing any further editions being issued.
