First edition, first printing. Signed by the author. A number of materials related to See-Paynton exhibitions are loosely laid in, including two autograph postcards from the artist. Original illustrated card covers. With a black and white frontispiece portrait and numerous illustrations in black and white throughout. A near fine copy, the binding square and firm, the extremities lightly rubbed. The contents are clean throughout and without stamps or inscriptions.

Signed by Colin See-Paynton in black ink on the half-title. A catalogue of See-Paynton's editioned wood engravings, accompanied by an illustrated walkthrough of the artist's process, a glossary of technical terms, and introductions by Kyffin Williams and David Alston.
