A near fine copy, the binding square and firm, the contents, except for a contemporary gift inscription in blue ink to the front free endpaper, are clean throughout. Minor pushing to spine tips. In the bright dustwrapper, rubbed to spine tips, notably the upper edge, where there is also a 1cm closed tear. Neatly and cleanly reinforced with tape to corners and spine edges from within. Lightly soiled to the rear panel. Not price clipped (13s. 6d. net to the front flap).
