Publisher's original purple boards with silver titles to the spine, an illustration stamped in silver to the front board and a publisher's limitation statement in silver to the rear board. A very near fine copy, the binding square and firm, bright and fresh. The contents are clean throughout and without inscriptions or stamps.

Signed by Neil Gaiman in blue ink on the title page. A specially bound edition, limited to 100 copies. Loosley laid in is note from the publisher at Headline Publishing Group "Enjoy. / Jared there's only a 100 of / these so please take care of / it. / Lucy." The recipient is an editor, anthologist and publisher of genre fiction. Winner of the 2013 Book of the Year at the British National Book Awards and the 2014 Locus Award in the 'Fantasy Novel' category. The novel later formed the basis of the stage adaptation written by Joel Horwood and directed by Katy Rudd, which had its West End debut at the Royal National Theatre in London in December 2019.
