First edition in this form. Signed by the author and the artist. Original black cloth with paper title inlays lettered in black and grey to the spine and upper board. With a signed, numbered print by Antony Gormley, in a cloth chemise. The book and print are housed together in a black cloth slipcase. Illustrated with two black and white plates by Gormley. An excellent fine copy, the binding square and tight, the contents clean and bright throughout and without previous owners' stamps or inscriptions. The print is in fine condition and the very lightly rubbed slipcase is in near fine condition. A lovely example, scarce with the print.

Issued in a limited edition of 160 copies, this example is numbered 111 and signed and dated by Thomas Keneally in black ink on the title page. The print is signed by Antony Gormley in pencil along the bottom edge. A special edition of the first chapter of Keneally's Booker Prize-winning novel 'Schindler's Ark', which was adapted into the 1993 Steven Spielberg directed film 'Schindler's List'. Issued by the Oak Tree Press, a private press that donates its profits to organisations assisting children living with or affected by HIV/AIDS, as the ninth volume in their 'First Chapters' series.
