REBEL

First edition, first printing. Publisher's original orange cloth with black titles to the spine, in the pictorial dustwrapper. A very good copy, the binding square and firm, the cloth bright and fresh. The contents, with spotting to the prelims, heavier to the closed text block edge, are otherwise clean throughout and without inscriptions or stamps. Complete with the rubbed and nicked dustwrapper that remains without loss, but has several closed tears with associated creasing which have been stabilised with clear tape to the underside. Correctly priced 7/6 net to the lower front flap. Scarce.

A political novel set largely in Russia culminating with outbreak of future war in Europe and revolution in the UK.
