First edition, first printing. Publisher's original black cloth with gilt titles to the spine, in dustwrapper. Top edge green. A very good or better copy, the binding square and firm with a little bumping at the spine tips, the cloth and gilt bright and fresh. There are a few spots of foxing to the bottom edge of the closed text block. The contents, with a previous owner's name in ink on the front endpaper, are otherwise clean thoughout. Complete with the lightly rubbed and creased dustwrapper that remains without fading, loss or tears. Not price-clipped (£3.50 net to the lower front flap).
