First UK edition, first printing. Publisher's original blue cloth with gilt titles to the spine, in the Fritz Wegner illustrated dustwrapper. A very good copy, the binding firm with a little bumping and fading to the spine tips, the gilt oxidised in places. The contents, spotted to the pastedowns and closed text block edge, are otherwise clean throughout and without inscriptions or stamps. Complete with the rubbed and nicked dustwrapper that has a couple of short closed tears with associated creasing and some fading to the spine. Not price clipped (9s 6d net to the lower front flap).
