First UK edition, first printing. Publisher's original black boards with gilt titles to the spine, in the Michael Dempsey designed dustwrapper. A near fine copy, the binding square and firm with very slight bumping to the spine tips. The contents are clean throughout and without stamps or inscriptions. Complete with the very lightly rubbed dustwrapper which is a touch faded to the spine, remaining without loss or tears. Not price-clipped (18s to the front flap).
