"Alfredo the Bohunk was one of America's biggest and most powerful bootleggers, and whiskey was not the only illegal cargo that he smuggled into the country. With him, kidnapping was just a side-line, but it became a factor of considerable importance when he himself was summarily hijacked and held to ransom. This story relates how Lady Anne Pye and her little band of followers from the good ship Fiona took the law into their own hands when the Bohunk tried to double-cross them, and describes the surprising and extremely gratifying results of their drastic action...."
