The Ugandan poet, novelist, and social anthropologist's third poetry collection. Considered one of the most vigorous and original voices in East African twentieth-century poetry. His satirical monologues deal with the conflict between European and African cultures. Two Songs was awarded the inaugural Kenyatta Prize for Literature in 1972.
