HUNTINGTOWER

First edition in book form, first printing. Publisher's original blue cloth with black titles to the upper board and spine, in dustwrapper. A very good or better copy, the binding square and firm with minor bumping at the extremities, the cloth fresh with a few white marks to the upper panel and spine. The contents, with the ownership signature of George Record to the half title are otherwise clean throughout. Complete with the rubbed and nicked dustwrapper that has several small chips at the fold corners and a closed tear to the lower spine fold (archivally secured to the reverse), otherwise bright and attractive. Correctly priced 7/6 net to the spine.

The first book in the Dickson McCunn trilogy, followed by Castle Gay (1930) and The House of Four Winds (1935). The novel was initially serialised in Popular Magazine between August and September 1921. The first edition is scarce in dustwrapper. (Blanchard A53; Hubin).
