First edition, first printing (preceding the US edition). Publisher's original yellow paper-covered board with gilt lettering to the spine, in the Cathy Canzani illustrated dustwrapper. A near fine copy, the binding square and firm with some bumping to the spine tips and corners, the boards and gilt bright. The contents are clean throughout and without inscriptions or stamps. Complete with the lightly creased dustwrapper that is a touch faded to the spine. Not price-clipped (£9.95 on the front flap).
