First edition, first printing (preceding the US edition). Publisher's original yellow paper-covered board with gilt lettering to the spine, in the Cathy Canzani illustrated dustwrapper. A near fine copy, the binding square and firm with some bumping to the spine tips and corners, the boards and gilt bright. The contents are clean throughout and without inscriptions or stamps. Complete with the lightly creased dustwrapper that is a touch faded to the spine. Not price-clipped (£9.95 on the front flap).

Written in 1960 and published posthumously, 'Humpty Dumpty in Oakland' is one of a series of non-SF novels Dick wrote between 1952 and 1960 (during the same period he was publishing science fiction stories in various Pulp magazines).
