First edition, first printing. Original teal cloth with titles to the spine in gilt, in the Lynton Lamb illustrated dustwrapper. Top edge brown. A very good copy, the binding square and firm, the cloth slightly rubbed at the extremities, the upper board with a few small fragments of paper stuck to the cloth. The contents, with a few tiny spots to the rear pastedown, are otherwise clean throughout and without previous owners' stamps or inscriptions. Complete with the lightly rubbed and nicked dustwrapper that has a few short closed tears to the extremities. Not price clipped (11s 6d to the front flap).
