First published in 1986 by Hodder and Stoughton. This edition uses text from the 2019 paperback edition, with minor emendations. Winner of the 1987 British Fantasy Award, 'It' was adapted for the 1990 miniseries starring Tim Curry, a 1998 Hindi-language television series, and a two-part feature film series released in 2017 and 2019 directed by Andy Muschietti and starring Bill Skarsgård, Finn Wolfhard, James McAvoy, and Jessica Chastain.
