First edition, first printing. Signed by the author. Limited edition. Original blue boards with a white parchment spine, lettered in gilt. Top edge gilt. Deckled edges. Many pages uncut. A very good copy, the binding square and firm, the edges very slightly rubbed, the bottom corners a touch bumped, the spine with faint toning and the upper board marked. There is light offsetting to the endpapers and faint toning to the margins, the contents are otherwise clean throughout and without previous owners' stamps or inscriptions.
