First edition, first printing. Inscribed by the author with an original drawing. Publisher's original burgundy cloth with silver titles to the spine, in dustwrapper. Illustrated in colour throughout. A better than very good copy, the binding square and firm, with a little bumping to the top of the spine. The contents are clean throughout and free from inscriptions or stamps. Complete with the better than very good lighlty rubbed and creased dustwrapper, that has some light spotting to the top left of the rear panel and an orange paint mark (Ralph's paint) to the bottom left. The contents, with a little bleed through from the inscription onto the rear of the front free endpaper, are otherwise clean throughout and free from inscriptions or stamps. Price clipped.

Inscribed across the front pastedown and endpaper in pink and silver ink, with an original drawing of a wine glass "Cheers John / from / Carole and Ralph Steadman / 28. 12. 92".
