First UK edition, first printing. Original green cloth with black titles to the spine, in dustwrapper. A very good copy, the binding square and firm, with slight bumping at the spine tips and board corners. There is some spotting to the closed text-block edge, prelims and a few margins, the contents are otherwise clean throughout and without stamps or inscriptions. Complete with the rubbed, nicked and creased dustwrapper that has a few short closed tears at the edges and minor chipping at the tips of the toned spine. Not price-clipped (9s 6d on the lower front flap).
