A near fine copy, the binding clean and firm with a very slight lean, the contents toned to the text block edge and with the pencilled ownership inscription of James Booth (former Professor of English at the University of Hull and biographer, editor and former colleague of Philip Larkin) are otherwise clean throughout. Complete with the lightly rubbed and nicked dustwrapper which is toned to the spine and panel edges. Repriced by the publisher with a label over the original printed price on the front flap.
