First edition thus (May Byron). 4to. Publisher’s original dark blue cloth with illustration in black and titles in gilt to the upper board and spine, in the dustwrapper. An excellent VERY GOOD copy, the cloth boards beautifully clean and bright with only light rubbing to the extremities. The contents are entirely complete, the “this belongs to” box has been neatly completed on the pastedown and there is some spotting to the text pages. All 12 colour plates, and 19 black and white illustrations are present, as called for. Complete with the original pictorial dustwrapper which has minor rubbing and dustiness to the extremities. Not price-clipped (6/- net to the front flap).
