First editions, first printings (first Faber edition of volume one). Five volumes. An entirely original and unrestored set. East Coker is VERY GOOD with a little darkening to the covers and a couple of tiny nicks to the extremities. The contents are complete with a tiny previous owner’s name to the top edge of blank front free endpaper and a few light foxing spots. Burnt Norton is in VERY GOOD condition with only light rubbing and creasing to the edges but with an ink name to the top edge of upper wrapper. The contents are clean and complete and without inscriptions or stamps. Dry Salvages is VERY GOOD with light rubbing and some darkening to the wrapper edges. The contents are clean and bright and without inscriptions or stamps. Little Gidding is present in both states. The first state in stitched binding is in VERY GOOD condition with light rubbing and fading to the covers. The second state stapled binding is in NEAR FINE condition with only the lightest of rubbing to the extremities. There are no inscriptions or stamps. (Gallup A36c, A37, A39, A42) |
